/register

Hello everyone!!

I don't know if this is already been suggested, but anyways;

I'd like to see a /register command.

You probably wonder why. I suggest this because maybe someone's account has been hacked and then, the hacker can basically get into every server with their account. But because of the register command, the hacker can't get into cubecraft because the player has a registered account with a password.

I've seen this somewhere in a server and i think CubeCraft should use it too.

Commands:
/register <passw.> <passw.>
/login <passw.> <passw.>

Easy right? At least, in my eyes.
But i don't know, maybe i'm not making sense though.

EDIT; i do think myself it's a bad idea now. People are saying that it's annoying to login all the time + the hacker can register an account without the player knowing it him or herself. So i currently disagree myself with this suggestion.

Having to log-in everything you log on is very annoying imo.
I don't like the idea, sorry.

The problem is that if someone's account is already hacked they could set a password that would lock the original owner out of their account before they got it back. Also people forgetting these passwords would probably create a whole other wave of support cases. I suppose you could link your account to an email to stop this but you would still have the first problem.

I think that this is not previously requested.
Anyway, I love this idea!
And when you have a ban you can no longer say it was someone else on my account.
But what @Power Ranger says, is also true.

Or you just get a better password. Simple as that. If you need to type /login [password] everytime you log in on CubeCraft, is it really annoying.

Yup me too.

I wouldn't like to see this. If your account is hacked, just reset your password and otherwise contact Mojang. This'd be really annoying to do every time you join CubeCraft.

1. Most compromised accounts are already banned
2. People can forget passwords, making a mess
3. If your minecraft password is easy enough to be guessed, then so is your 'cubecraft password" probably.
4. Logging in every time is just plain annoying and would annoy more players than it would help.
5. Hacked accounts can set a password too.

So, no.

Your account is your own responsibility, if it gets hacked its your own problem.

My reply is sitll my opinion but I have a feelign that most of the people in this thread don't get that the suggestion is only an optional password not a mandatory one.

Nowhere in the post does it say anything about optional. Its also not optional on any server I've seen it on.

Its very annoying when you have to login every time, and if you ever forgot you're password ur ******

Sounds like a good idea, maybe it would only be a thing where it is detected as a different ip than your own? Other than that, that would nice to have rather than getting banned for "compromised account".
