Block Friends

Hi people of the internet, welcome to this new thread!

You might be thinking, blocking friends, why would you even want to do that. Let me explain.

Let's say for example, you and your friend have a quarrel because of something stupid, but you think your friend was wrong, but your friend thinks the same of you. You joinCube and you see that your friend is online, but you want to take some distance from him. Now there's the perfect solution! Removing him out of your friends list is too exaggerated, so that's why I came with the idea to block people. I would be something like this:

/block Cynamooo (Reason: (fill in your reason) )

The blocked person does not have the permission to...

- See where you are
- /fmsg you

The only thing he can see is if you're online or not.

If the blocked person types /f list he should see this:

- Cynamooo - Blocked you

If you think everything's fine, then you can just unblock him by typing /unblock Cynamooo

Yeah, I like it. But you also can make it good which each other What's a better choice. If your friend ignores it, you gave him a choice and is it up to him. +1 ;)

Another choice if you don't want to unfriend some one, it may be a little too harsh
I like the fact that you can also put in a reason and knowing that the player has blocked you

Good idea @Cynamooo, it would be very useful if a friend's spamming you. I hope it comes in Cubecraft. ;)

sorry, I think that it is useless. It is more easier for removing him/her. The idea is really Good, But it is like social media. I dont think that it is anything for cubecraft.

What My suggestion is: for /mute your friend, If he is spamming you, And you do that he cant more. You also can choose for how long it is.

It can be very useful indeed for people who constantly like to annoy you.
Maybe this could work even if the player isn't your friend, as said above, you could easily remove them. ;P
For example, if a player constantly annoys you, day after day, you could block them even if they are not in you friends list, which means that eveyone time they PM you, a message could pop up saying the the person has blocked you.
Overall, great suggestion. ;)

I didn't mean that but most of the time someone being annoying is using some sort of targetable chat offense

Did you even understood what I tried to say? It's not about annoying someone or targeting/spamming. It's about when you have a quarrel with your friend, but you want to take some distance from him, then you have the possiblity to block him for a while. So what you're saying is that if you now have a quarrel with your friend, that you need to report him for that..

okay but you can't ignore them why?
actually Of all people I shouldn't be the one to say that because I can't ignore people on my own choice
however I generally either get it past or lack friendship
