The anti cheat of the server.

Hey there,

Possibly the worst let down ever CubeCraft.

See, I've been playing on the server since forever really and what really angers me the most is that I can't play one game without a hacker bombarding me with frustrating anti knockback. I know you have an anti cheat but it's not an efficient anti cheat and I believe it can be fixed. And perhaps you don't want complaints about 'getting falsely banned by the anti cheat that seems to be suspicious about every move' but seriously... it's worth it. Now, I don't mean to worry anyone but when I see a player legit flying around the map somehow, it really surprises me. To be honest, over the years the number of players on the server have decreased and I think it is due to the anti cheat.

Now please, change the anti cheat system and make my life a little easier.

The anti-cheat, as what I've heard is still banning hackers in ban waves. If you wanna give the community a solid favour, report the hackers with video evidence here: Reports.Cubecraft.Net Thanks!

okay see Sentinel unlike for example WatchDog (on Hypixel) Sentinel doesn't ban hackers instantly but instead goes over it and collects multiple to ban at once
this is actually a more efficient way to do this because in its early stages of being released it may have bugs and falsely ban people but it reduces false bans by doing this

It still has bugs and banning hackers straight away would make it much better, I know they're woring on it but I don't think banning hackers in ban waves is more efficient.

That's to much to ask from a player in my opinion. It's their server.

Of course, but... it's not stopping players from flying and from hitting say multiple entities at once.

it can though it just doesn't instantly ban the hackers it bans them around the end of the day

The Anti-Cheat (Sentinel) is doing his work very good, sometimes he's got some bugs but they're fixed as soon as the Devs know the bug. Sentinel still bans hackers in ban waves, so not immediately. Sometimes you have luck and the hacker gets banned in your game. If that's not the case, please record and report them here > https://reports.cubecraft.net/login. :)

did you read what I actually said
I said that while it has bugs this is better because it has time to stop itself from banning a hacker if Sentinel catches on to you spam clicking in 1 game for only a bit if it banned you right away that would create more false bans so I said while there are bugs

If Sentinel sees that the player is clearly hacking, then it's way more efficient to ban straight away.
I didn't read your post so well because your posts are a bit unclear sometimes.

Then this makes it easier for the people who make hack clients to make their client undetectable to Sentinel. Ban waves are a better idea, you might need to face hackers for a while, but it's better than it was before Sentinel was release. Also, the more blatant the hack is, the faster the player will get banned. Sentinel needs to be tricky and hard to understand by client makers.

Sentinel functions in ban waves so it's going to ban people on the spot.

I personally haven't encountered anyone 'HACKING' recently and if you are active on YouTube you can see the anti cheat is obviously very effective.

Sentinel does it's best to ban hackers. Cube can't just come out with another anti cheat instantly as it takes months and months of work. If you see a hacker just reports them on the website!

Look, I know that you're frustrated by the anti cheat but, please bare with me. 1. If you want to stop hackers that weren't detected by the anti cheat, report the hackers here with video evidence, reports.cubecraft.net. 2. Even though the anti cheat may be false banning, it is doing way more good than bad. It has banned thousands upon thousands of hackers ^€^. The anti cheat is also improving every day. Patience is the key V€V. (Anti cheats are hard to make, you know :)). Locked.
