Ello People from the forums, Y'all are probably here because of this post and thank you for taking the time to read this post. now enough chit chaten on with da post.
Ok so I was in a game of TD trying to think of a way to get people to know how to properly play TD, what if when ever you walked into TD you got a message in your chat that'll read:
Hay, Welcome to tower defense :D This is a complex game about trying to defend your castle from mobs and you'll go head to head against other players!Sounds fun right? but remember how we said it's a complex game? yeah if this is your first time playing we suggest you click this link (insert link here) this will take you to a page on our forums that'll tell you how to play! If this is your first time reading this then we highly suggest reading this guide and thank you for playing on CubeCraft.

yeah this is just a ruff draft of what it could be but the point is you'd get this message and if people were to read a guide then maybe Tower defense could become a bit more fun and people could actually have a fair compation. also there would be a option to turn this message off in your settings but you'd be required to get the message atlest once before turning it off.

Thanks for reading KitKat OUT!

EDIT:I am aware that theirs a already a guide in tower defense but that guide leaves out important aspects of tower defense like stacking

But there are tutorials. You don't actually need to make them install another tutorial when there already is one. When you play a game of TD, you see a book at the inventory bar shown below.

I have an idea. Before you make something on a forum page just check first please.

In Skywars there's a tutorial on the big image in the lobby under Info. In Eggwars there's a tutorial in the lobby on the big image under Info and when you join a game you're in the waiting lobby (before the game starts and where you can select your kit and team), there's also a tutorial written on the sign's on the board which is at the spawn.

I believe everyone has a book in their inventory explaining how things work? Might be wrong.

I Understand that theirs already a turtorial book in tower defence but there's two massive problems with it
1.to my knolage it says nothing about stacking
and 2.not many people don't read it because they're in game they don't have time to go through it so they just don't

But if you're waiting in lobby you can click a link to bring you to a written tutorial and maybe more people will know how to play

What if some new players have chat disabled? Also, there's a board for a reason so....

There's a problem with that tutorial though:

1. The player has to sit through it during a live game, not on their own time. This impairs their team for a few minutes (even just seconds makes a big difference).
2. Doesn't cover enough information. This is big as not even that book mentions AoE stacking.

I'd say have the tutorial as a written book given to all players in the TD lobby to allow players to read it at any time without interrupting the game.

Life is a learning process buddy :)
Not all players will be as good as you if they just started. You have to be patient.
And there is a book somewhere in there
