Let's say there are 2 teams or so remaining, and the others are eliminated/trying to survive without their egg. 1 team has their egg left, and my team is trying to build over and destroy it without dying. I die, and my teammates are still trying to build over to destroy the egg. While in spectator mode, can I tell them about the other team's egg (what it is covered in, the quickest way to get to it, etc.), or would that count as crossteaming, as I am no longer on their team?

This is an idea of how I could help my team (not another team, but only my own), even after I become a spectator. I want to do it in the future, but I feel like it could get me in trouble.

It, as far as I know, does not count as cross-teaming. If you are helping your team, then their is nothing wrong with it. I have seen some staff members kick other players who are "ghosting" but it is not technically against the rules so you can do it.

no your good ghosting was taken off the rules when the new reporting system came out

if your dead and you would help another team its still not considered cross teaming because your dead when your dead you are technically not on a team so if your team that you were on wins and your dead you dont get that win only the alive players do

so no your fine you can do that
