AFK timer

Hello!
Before my ban and Since my unban, i've always seen 65% of a lobby is afk.
That really annoys me. They take much place for non afk players, and they cant join lobbys because of them.
Maybe you can make an AFK timer, and the time before getting kicked, is different for every rank.
Like this:

Stone: 10 minutes
Iron: 20 minutes
Lapiz: 30 minutes
Gold: 40 minutes
Diamond: 50 minutes
Emerald: 60 minutes (1 Hour)
Obsidian: 70 minutes (1 Hour and 10 minutes)

Let me know if this is a good idea or a bad idea and also let me know if you recognize annoying afk players :)

Maybe a tip: You can set players from "Everybody" to "Friends only". :P

But it's true that players are a lot of Afk but that's why there is an option where you can set people "On", "Off" and "Friends only". :)

I mean, afk players are still there and they take place for players who want to join.
If lobby 1 of skywars has 58 players, then there are like 30 afk ones.

Nice suggestion.
I don't see the point in time difference for kicking when it comes to donators...

Just kick everyone who's afk after 15-20minutes. Ranks don't matter.

Well on another server, if you have a higher rank, your afk timer goes higher.

It should be an even timer in my opinion. But it's a good idea nonetheless. Some people might find it irritating though - say you have to do a chore, make some food, ECT, and you come back to "You have been kicked for: AFK".

Well youn, the server has some things that other people find amazing, while others find it irritating. Same goes with this thing.

Don't even need to kick them. You could keep them connected to the bungee but stop sending them packets from the server.

Then you could listen for the player move and reconnect them when they move. Could look tacky but it's an idea to do it that way.

So if I understand you correctly they will still be in de lobby but other players would be able to join in their place?

I like the idea but I'm always AFK so it'll be effective for me. But I don't like the idea for different timers for different ranks, it should be all the same

That would be correct, the player will be 'disconnected' as far as the lobby is concerned however the connection could be "kept alive" in a sense just by the bungee.

I agree don't need afk players taking up lobby spots and server resources.
