Separated looking-for-a-party
Hi there!
If you look at the Discord server, you will notice Bedrock and Java chats like Eggwars, Blockwars and Skywars are separated.
But the Looking-for-a-party channel isnt separated, but in my opinion it needs to be separated as well.

Why does it need to be separated?
I got a couple reasons.
Let me explain them:

After counting the messages in the Bedrock server for the last 24 hours, I had these numbers:
The amount of asking who wanted to play together:
Eggwars chat: 13 times
Skywars chat: 14 times
Blockwars chat: 2 times
FFA: 1 time

After this, I counted the Looking-for-a-party channel as well.
Bedrock: 11 times
Java: 6 times
No platform mentioned: 14 times

When I saw this, I went search for this format in #Looking-for-a-party
The last 24 hours, this format wasnt even used once (!)

How can they solve this?
They can solve this really easy by making two separated Looking-for-a-party channels: one for Bedrock, one for Java.
It would lead to more parties and hopefully more fun on the server!
Note: Maybe the channels should be moved to the Java and Bedrock section as well.

i agree with you, the worst part is when people first ask for party and when they ask which platform, they dont play on the same. some people do say which platform, but most people dont.
honestly, i've never seen the format myself until i just checked the pinned messages, which people never check.

Yeah I completely agree with you. To all the people who say "people can just say what platform they're on" well people don't really do that lol. If there were separated #looking-for-party chats, people would probably be way more likely to actually find someone to play with.

I don't use the looking for party a lot, but I can definitely see how this can come in handy.

This will also avoid people asking other questions like: What platform are u on? Ofcourse you got the template but I rarely see people use it. +1

This does help because it can reduce the amount of confusion that is happening. So maybe we can let our friends players have a simpler time finding a party instead of having a hard time.

I've actually gone up to a point where I was waiting ingame for someone that I agreed to play with in the #looking-for-a-party channel and then finding out that they were on java which was pretty frustrating.

So I agree it would be a nice quality of life update to the discord to split the channel!
