Disagree with mixer, it should be the same as twitch. But other than that, yes I totally agree. If this server was still getting regularly 10-30k player like it used to, I'd disagree. But it's a much smaller network now, and just can''t afford to have those requirements.

After doing more mixer research I do agree my original ones stated are a bit low but I don't think it should be the same as twitch. At this current moment twitch has 10x the amount of viewers in the minecraft category (overall its is a TON more) and sometimes that gap is over 100x more viewers (for the minecraft category).

doesn't matter tho. You can grow a community on mixer just as easily.

Not to that size when only a total of 752 are watching the entire game. Also most streamers on mixer don't even have more than 1K followers

But the potential is still there. Like when Ninja switched to that platform, he still kept his viewerbase. The requirements should be the same imo. Otherwise small people will just go to Mixer so they can get the rank easier.

comfyyy I don't want this to sound rude but you should do a little bit more research before you try and argue the mixer point. Ninja went from 15M followers (twitch) to 3M followers (mixer), his viewership went from an average of 40K to 4K. That is not keeping his viewer base.

Also the entire game of Minecraft ATM has only 1349 total viewers on mixer. The top streamer has 763 of those viewers and only has 7,009 followers. Second place has 99 viewers and 34,550 followers. Third place has 55 viewers and 3,388 followers. Then hop down to sixth place (out of all the mixer Minecraft streamers) and 26 viewers but 1615 followers which does not meet the follower requirement.

see what i'm trying to say here?

Of course Mixer will have less streamers and less viewers overall. It's a newer and thus smaller platform. Requirements should remain the same. And Ninja was not averaging 40k before he left Twitch. I have a feeling you just took the first thing google told you to be true. He kept roughly 80% of his viewerbase over the platform switch.

I actually am always looking into numbers and yes over his last few streams he had a 40K average. Where did you read/see he kept 80% of his viewers?
because in reality he did not keep even close to 80% of his viewer base.

15M followers -> 3M followers is an 80% LOSS
40K -> 4K average viewers is 90% LOSS

Mixer doesnt have less streamers it has less viewers AND streamers.
Which means trying to get to 2-5K followers (as my twitch requirements say) someone would have to have more followers than the TOTAL amount of people watching minecraft on mixer so no one would ever get mixer rank

I’m a little late to this thread but giving my opinion won’t hurt :D I think it’s a great idea and they should also have requirements that you have to record videos on the server because always when I see someone with YouTube rank and I look at their channel they are mostly Spanish YouTubers who don’t even upload Cubecraft videos (if this is already a requirement consider checking their channels better for Cubecraft content)

I agree with that, but remember every content creator gets a free plus subscribtion and the work of one content creator is to get the server known by many people, if Cubecraft add the new requirments there will be many content creators which are not that popular and will get plus subscribtion without doing nothing.

It will be great if cubecraft lower the youtube requirments to 20k subscribers, not 15k and for Mixer there is no need for new requriments because for now they are good, Twitch permissions should be as you said.

Hey,

I've recently taken over partner management and will see trough some changes to the system and how we operate and work with partners.

Many of the suggestions you posted in your original message hold their ground well. The partners system has been one of the things we've been lacking some management of and has not received a high amount of attention whilst we were going through some the tougher times in the last year or two.

Having taken over management of it, I hope to give the system some new life and see some of your favourite content creators better rewarded for their work with us.

To give you some much-needed transparency and an overview of what I plan to work on in the coming weeks:
  • I plan to drop both the Twitch and YouTube requirements down significantly, to numbers similar to what you posted originally.
  • The acceptance process will be far more lenient. I.e. if the numbers don't particularly add up, but you're a very active creator, we'll still accept you.
  • Applications are currently on hold, pending these changes, so we'll be reviewing those in the coming weeks after we do these updates.
  • I plan to review our active Creators in the coming weeks to ensure we are investing our efforts to supporting creators who are active. I am aware that we currently have a number of partnered creators that no longer play Minecraft or no longer upload as a whole.
So to summarise, your feedback is definitely being taken into consideration and you should see the majority of it be implemented in the coming weeks.

I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have about the partner programme or my plans. :)

First of all I would like to say thank you for taking time to read my suggestion and for taking action.
Second I have a few questions that I was wondering if you could answer:
1) Do you have an estimate on how many new partners you will be adding?
2) If I would like to apply for partner should I do it now or wait until after the changes have been implemented?
3) If someone is a partner are they still able to play other servers?
4) If someone is a partner can they get content creator ranks on other servers?

I think I can answer questions 3 and 4. I'm almost 100% sure you will not be limited to only be playing Cubecraft, they will at most make it that a small percentage of your videos should be on Cubecraft. And I'm 100% sure you can still get content creator ranks on other servers because there isn't a good reason not to allow that :)

Hey,

We don't have an estimate, we'll put some announcements out after the changes, it depends on how many apply. Hopefully quite a few! :)

I would recommend applying after we make the changes, so you won't experience an overly long delay after your application to hear back from us.

We do not impose any restrictions on use/playing of other servers or games, our only restrictions are around abusive behaviour or disregard for Minecraft's own terms. Basically, if common sense says it's wrong, then it's something we'll get in touch with a partner for. We always get in touch to work with the partner when something like this happens, to ensure it can be resolved in a friendly way.

Hey,

Just to update, this is completed!

Requirements have been officially dropped down significantly, as well as having our selection simplified: https://partners.cubecraft.net/

I've reviewed and updated the list of current creators and I've begun reviewing applications again. We've been adding partners at a good pace so far, so if you have creators that you know that previously wouldn't have met the requirements, let them know to apply now and we'll see them trough! :)

Thanks for the suggestion.
