WARNING to skyblock players

I just want to start off by saying this is not my video. and the person who recorded this has already posted a report on the bug report page. But i just wanted to make a thread warning players.

Im not 100% sure if this is what caused it but if you leave your island mid way though auto saving. your whole island will be reset. Just be super careful when you log off or go into the lobby.

I assume this will be fixed soon buts its good to be careful because who knows how hard it would be to get rolled back and or how many days it would take

Hey this was my island, is there maybe a way to rollback this problem as there are a ton of backups?
After it was reset I did unlock another island which might cause a problem then but hopefully you can rollback as otherwise I would've wasted so much time.

A fix is rolling out to production. This will take a few hours for it to fully deploy to all servers. This fix may not be perfect since it was put together really quickly to hopefully ensure islands fully resetting. We're continuing to keep an eye out to ensure that the world saving remains steady.

I'm very sorry but I can't seem to find any backup files. The system for some reason cleared them out, and I will continue looking into why this happened, since I feel there is a larger underlying issue at play here.
Again, I'm very sorry as there is not much that I can do in this situation :( I can give you a few thousand coins if you believe this would help rebuild your island faster?

Thats really unfortunate :/ some money would help me out so much. I don't have a source of money right now and I had a leveled up cow spawner to level 11 and 2 chicken spawners to level 7 which cost me a ton of money. My IGN is ShadowKillerFTW and I am online right now

@ShadowKillerFTW Are you able to disconnect from the network whilst I manually add some coins to you. This is just to prevent any further corruption that I might cause when adding the coins.

It appears that the issue is not fixed, since I've been given another report of issues with islands. I'm currently investigating the issue further. It appears that the issue is rare enough that most people won't have to worry about it, but I just felt like keeping this thread updated to let everyone know that it's currently still being investigated.

Thank you for not keeping us in the dark about this. I have not been playing because i have been worried but glad to hear its a rare chance of this happening! Do you know if its for sure caused by leaving when your island is auto saving or was the just a coincidence in the video?

It might very well be. The issue is that even in a perfect environment, where I can try and save the world hundreds of times a second, I still haven't actually been able to reproduce the issue once. I'm struggling to get any reliable reproduction steps at this moment in time.

We have a deploy going live with some tweaks to world saving. My gut says that I don't think that they're going to do anything, but since we're currently working off so little at the moment, it's the best we've got!

Last night when I wanted to log out I did so just when the saving world message popped up. Having seen this thread I immediately rejoined to see if I lost my island. I didn't, but I did lose a couple of minutes of progress on my island. However my inventory remained the same.

I had just taken down a big mass of jungle trees, but these were back again. Small part of the wall I build around my cactus farm was gone. However I still had all the logs I got from the jungle trees.

Not perfect, but much better than losing an island :)

Are you saying that this has affected you? Can you tell me a bit more about your issue, can you able provide a bit more proof since I can't just randomly change someones island?
