Since some people on the leaderboard got on there with the use of hacks it might be a good thing to get the perm banned people off the leaderboards to get other players to be able to take their positions.
Yes, I feel like a general leaderboard cleaning is needed. Because although some perm banned players aren’t in the highest positions, it’s still really unfair for other players trying to get up there.

I know it's frustrating that permanently banned players are on the leaderboard, but as we know sometimes there are ban resets and if players will be unbanned by making an appeal it won't be fair to have them removed from the leaderboard and while they're banned you have the time to pass them on the leaderboard and just get further and further.

Then when they are not banned anymore there wins are ''legal'' again and will coem on to the leaderboards

They could do what they did on parkour. Reset the stats but when u play the a game they return. It would clean the leaderboards and the players who aren't unbanned could have their stats back.

I don't really know how does it work what they did on parkour but if it works like how I explained, it would be a good solution in my opinion.

Depends on what is the ban type.Sentinel bans on1.8 leaderboard players are not rare at all just because some of them are double clicking.Does it mean they cheat doing that?No
It has to be individual

They got their stats unfairly. Their stats should be wiped, everything should be. Their kills, wins and even network level.

Network-level means nothing tho, there are no benefits to it at the current moment, so I don't see the reason for this to be removed as well.

As for this thread, they should mainly do that for players who've been permanently banned for at least a month or so, just in case that player was falsely punished and hasn't noticed they've been punished. However, I do agree they should be removed from the leaderboards since the leaderboards were made to display the "top 200 best players" or "top 50 players" given the network you're connected to.

I agree so much with this suggestion! If the player is perm banned, that player has probably used hacks to get all of the wins, so I think they have to be removed from the leaderboard.
Few options countering that:

1. He could have had his account compromised and hacked enough to get a cheating ban.
2. He could have played legit from the very beginning and hack when he felt like quitting or some other reason.
3. He could have hacked on another game.
4. He could have gotten banned for hacking even without using a hacked client (e.g. other unapproved mod).

Stat wiping should be done only if it's 110% sure that the offender genuinely hacked, is permanently banned, and wasn't a compromised account.

I agree that they should be removed from the leaderboards but I am fully against a stat reset of these players. In fact, I was permanently banned as well and, trust me, a handful of permanent banned players get their unban eventually.
