This anticheat is bad, if you say otherwise you just make yourself look dumb.
Like you can see on the screen, they work with ban waves; not with instant banning. Maybe it got detected right away, but didn't get banned right away because there just was a ban wave.

And even if they ban through waves, that is not helping much either. It also makes no sense. All they do is allowing cheaters longer on the network, ruining the fun of other players. It doesn't help to prevent bypasses either (an often used argument to ban through waves).
The devs may be “incapable” of making a “good” anti cheat (whatever that’s supposed to mean), but you’re incapable of making a good suggestion?

If I were to record every player that is cheating blatantly (and doesn't get banned instantly) in each game I play my external hard drive would be full in 1 day.
This anticheat is bad, if you say otherwise you just make yourself look dumb.
Point is that if you use such blatant cheats (that actually alter gameplay in terms of movement speed and reach) it should be detected near instantly.
Did you actually do research and looked into it before saying false things?

Believing =/= Reality.
then make a suggestion instead of an other rant thread. The fact remains that Sentinel bans in waves.
You dont know how sentinel works. If something doesnt bypass, you will get instantly banned, not banwaved. For example, if you use a scaffold that doesnt bypass, you will get banned instantly

Better not waste your time on these kind of people. It is clear that this is one of the worst anticheats out there - people on the forums just tend to defend it.

More than a million bans server-wide, but yet a bad anticheat?
Its literally the same hackers that use alts and a bad client, so ofc they are gona get banned over and over again. Also, sentinel sometimes double bans and it may false ban
btw I was cheating for 3+ hours on an alt yesterday, and i didnt get banned by sentinel

It says MORE than a million for a reason.
Of course people with a less advanced client are gonna be banned faster than people with a more advanced client, but the point is that clients develop fast, so Sentinel needs to catch up in some way. But catching up with the clients isn't easy at all, meaning that the devs are going to need some time to block certain bypasses. You can't call an anticheat 'bad' just because clients develop fast.
You realize that sentinel hasnt been updated in a long time and the client im using is over 2 years old and its still fully bypassing sentinel, you have no idea of what your talking about dude. Even wurst is bypassing sentinel, so in conclusion, sentinel is a bad anticheat. Even ncp is better than that garbage anticheat

Those numbers say nothing to me if you look at all the bypasses for this anticheat.
It's not that clients develop fast, or that devs "need some time" to block certain bypasses. They are just incapable in coding a good anticheat.

You also don’t know how sentinel works. Some cheats have instant ban when detected, some have banwaves. You both right
Over and over again do I see the same threads about sentinel not being a “good” anti cheat. But fact remains, no one ever explains what a good anti cheat is? How can you expect change if you only judge and criticize but not provide any solutions? That’s the biggest problem, people just complain over and over again but never propose something.

I'm not a developer of CubeCraft so it's not my job to provide solutions to fix problems with their anticheat. That's their job. However, that does not mean I can't complain about their garbage anticheat.
