So recently I decided to go play survival by myself. I think i've never enjoyed playing minecraft over 10 hours by myself but I managed to succeed this time.

Here are some pictures of my server thus far:

I traveled oversees for thousands of blocks. It was a literal hell because everything was ocean or ice. Then I stumbled upon this village. It was so big that I just had to set up base here. It took me about 1.5 hour to surround the whole village with fenches, not included chopping the trees.

I've also survived two raids. One untill wave 4, the other one wave 5. In the last raid an Evoker dropped a totum of undying so i'm really lucky thus far.

This is basically my base. I had a 2 high stone wall around all my stuff but decided to move all of it and make a bigger house after making some hills flat.

Treefarm, wheat and carrot farm, sheep and cow farm. I barely breed sheeps as I mainly focus on building stuff and breeding cows for their leather. I needed loads of oak and birch wood so I made a little treefarm.

The start of my house. I've spent lots of time and oak (about 6 stacks) to make the tree. I'm not really proud of the house yet and that's where I need your opinions for. How can I make it better? This is basically the first time i'm building without a tutorial so i'm new to this. My bf suggested pillars underneath the building towards the center of the tree so it looks like they're supportbeams, but I just feel like I need to adjust the shape of the house/rooftop and/or use some other materials, or do both!

Awesomeee, I can see the resemblance with the cows lel
Anywho, about the house, I've always been a fan of tree houses that don't limit themselves to a single building. If I were you, I would expand the tree, maybe make it way taller and give it a few branches. That way, you can make a house on each branch and connect them with hanging bridges! Just a crazy idea tho. I would say you definitely need to add leaves tho.
But I like ur house.

Make the tree thicker until it has a good outline. Make the tree a bit around the house, so that it really looks like the house is '' in '' the tree. Well, I'm not a builder or anything, maybe you should ask them.

Your reply may have turned out to be an idea. I will try to make branches reaching for the floor of my house, which might makes it look better.

Small update on the house. I really needed to expand as I really need an enchantmentroom. I made some bridges to future rooms and maybe i'll add some trees underneath them if I have the time and oak. For now my main focus is expanding it. I also made the walls higher and the rooftop higher. This added some more light. I will not be able to play survival until sunday. Oh and I spent 20 emeralds on a trading villager for 4 dark oak saplings. The tree grew and it gave me only one sapling.. Guess i'll need to save some more emeralds.

Update time!
upload_2019-11-7_18-23-7.png

I started building two rooms. The one on the left is the Enchantment room, the one on the right will be the chest room.

upload_2019-11-7_18-24-2.png

My idea is to fill up most of the room with bookshelves. This already took me a lot of time and will take some more. I will eventually decorate it with leaves, glowstone and such, but for now I wanted to focus on being able to enchant stuff.

upload_2019-11-7_18-25-3.png

This is going to be the chest room. I hope that it's enough space for in the future.

I also went mining and found 7 diamonds right at the start, half a stack iron, 2 stacks redstone, 2,25 stack coal, 14 gold and a bit of lapis.

These are my resources right now.

I went on adventure and found some pretty interesting stuff. First I came across a swamp where I stayed for two days. Then a dark oak biome and as last a jungle. I knew I spawned near a jungle and it was pretty easily to find, it just took about 3 minecraft days and a lot of patience.

Also found two new friends!! I found a cat in the swamp at a witch her house and a bird in the jungle. The bird keeps making creeper, spider, skeleton and baby villager sounds which is pretty scarry but other than that they behaved well. Made a picture but for some reason it doesn't exist anymore. Will include a picture of my animals next update.

Pillagers spawned on my rooftop. Wasn't too happy about it. Also killed 4 other groups of Pillagers around my villager base. I knew some groups spawned but just thought they despawned eventually. Seems like they just gathered up around one place 100 blocks away from my base

Completed the chestroom. Now i'll only need to make item frames for everything. Right now i'm busy with farming logs and leather. I also went on a mining trip and found 1,5 stack of iron, 6 diamonds, half a stack lapis and 2 stacks coal. I've been online for 3 hours today and it was pretty productive.

I decided to start with shoveling some sand so I can eventually make a barn. This is what it looked like before. I shoveled for about 30-40 minutes and it's in half. I mined about one double chest of sand and some sandstone, diorite, andesite, cobblestone, dirt and coal.

I've also completed every room around the main area. I will eventually make trees underneath them, but right now I just really needed 3 rooms.

upload_2019-11-14_17-12-38.png

I've also added some oak leaves to the tree. This makes it look much more fancy and this took about 15 minutes with the use of scaffolding and 2 stack of leaves.

This is what the room looks like opposite of the enchantment room. I wanted a sugar cane farm and after it has no more use I will turn it into a wheat farm or smth like that. The glowstone was placed completely random because a spider spawned amd my heart skipped a beat because of it so I decided to light it up.

upload_2019-11-14_17-17-11.png

The room opposite of the chest room. I don't have any use for it yet, but if any of you have an idea of what kind of a room I should make it I'd love to hear it (decorative or useful, doesn't matter).

upload_2019-11-14_17-18-36.png

This is what the encantment room looks like right now. I want to make the two walls on the left and right full with anvils, but since they're expensive we'll see.

It has been some time!! I was very busy with school and work. Let me show the new stuff!

upload_2019-12-12_23-7-29.png

We've found ourselves a fox!! It took sooo much time to catch this little guy. They kept running away, one died and finally after two hours this little guy was brought home. I also had two doggos but one of them got lost in a dark oak biome.

upload_2019-12-12_23-9-14.png

Meanwhile I cleared out this whole section of sand, dirt and stone and it wasn't that easy. I took me about 8 hours to take down all of it. There is no more space left for sand in the sand chest and my glass chest is half filled, because I didn't want to dump the sand. As you can see I also started building a real farm on the left. My idea is to eventually put all animals in there except for my pets. It will also take loads of time to get all the clay and melt it all, but it will probably be worth it. The main reason why I didn't want to use too much wool is because of how easily it can spread fire during a thunderstorm. My inspiration is from here; https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/abandoned-apocalypse-barn/ but I won't make it abandoned.

I also updated to 1.15! Thus far I haven't found any bee related stuff, but I might wanna explore that eventually. I'm very excited to use honey blocks.
