It’s even forbidden in most societies to dress up like those kinds of people because of what they did, so yes, inappropriate skins should definitely be banned, this subject is capes, I don’t think you’d like to see an inappropriate image on someone’s back, especially not when you’re younger and more likely to copy other looks because you saw it.
But not only that, the fact you would want to wear a skin of a guy that caused millions pf people should be banable.

EDIT: Sarcasm aside, dehumanizing someone for liking a symbol is wrong. Stop calling him a terrible human being for liking the shape of the symbol. You're just being a sheep and following what everyone thinks of Hitler, then applying it to the people that like the swastika. It's not the same whatsoever. Liking Hitler means you like what he did, liking the swastika literally only means you like the design of it. Honestly, have a more of an open mind.

You completely misunderstood me. I'm aware they are not vanilla features but these sort of mods are being used by soooo many players that it doesn't reaaaally feel like a mod anymore

Idk, I disagree. It's not within standard minecraft, people install those mods at their own risk. I don't think they should be restricted especially due to it not affecting everyone, just those who also install the mod.

There's something you clearly don't understand with suggestions. They don't only need to be good for you, they also need to be good for the server and other players. Allowing innapropite skins isn't good for the server and most of it's players.

I mean to be fair it's a cool design, quite massively detailed with so many unremarkably artistic skills. Hitler never got accepted into art school but he still showed the world what he was really capable of by designing that absolute beauty of a massively overhauled sign that really shows one of the most detailed pictures, with over 200 pixels per pixel, in one single symbol.

Well I didn’t call him a racist nor did I call him a terrible human being. But I see it this way: symbols are powerful, they’re used to represent something. And some symbols are just so powerfully infested of bad connotations that they shouldn’t be used even if it’s considered something cool and that’s all.
But that’s just me, not everyone gives the same value to symbols, images, representations, references, etc.

Which I would say is quite true, but people still shouldn't be practically dehumanizing others because of its usage. Some people don't realize this, but using a symbol doesn't exactly mean supporting its history either. Although in most cases, that would actually be correct, but we should also open our minds to the rare cases of people using the symbol purely because they like it.
