Hello cubecrafters.
players sometimes get banned by the anticheat or by players reporting him.
if you get banned by the anticheat you get a 7 day ban then a 30 day ban and then a perm ban
should they add after your 30 day ban you get a one year ban. for players who want to play after a long time the can play again with out hacks meby? and if they still hack they get a perm ban?

Permanent punishments technically last a year, then most staff members are ok with ending the punishment.
Edit: of course not network bans... dun dun dun

most of them say they will still be banned. but why do they add a permanent punish if they are going to be unbanned after a year?

When you're perm banned, they usually recommend waiting a couple of months or so before appealing, that way you can compose a good appeal and by then you should be more aware of the server rules.

What I basically used to do: 3 punishments or less i’ll unban after one year, more than 3 punishment no unban or maybe after two or more years. The punishment is technically permanent but if the staff member feels like the members has had enough “suffering” and has behaved well they get the chance to receive an unban. It’s not a standard rule within the staffteam, it’s completely up to the staff member if they unban the player.

In my opinion, the punishment track should just remain the way it is. If a player truly deserves another chance and proves that they do by preparing a well written message for the staff member, not bypassing their punishment and accepting it, I guarantee you that they will have their punishment removed after a year or less than a year. Of course, they will have to put some effort in order to receive an unban, but I feel like they completely deserve that, considering they have had plenty of opportunities to stop violating rules before ever getting to a permanent punishment.

Now, if your suggestion were to be added:
  • Players would need to wait a year without being able to receive a chance earlier and they wouldn't need to put much effort in order to receive an unban, but instantly have their punishment removed after a year.
  • The people who don't actually deserve another chance, will receive one after a year.
The staff member who issued the punishment should be the one to decide whether the player deserves another chance or not and when to give that chance to the player.

If you've been banned for hacking 2-3 times then you don't deserve to be unbanned every lol you had your chance after the first 1st/2nd time but you kept going.Your fault, not anyone else's

I disagree. Like Quetzi said, permanent bans prevent alt accounts from joining the server again. Besides, you will not get a permanent ban for no reason, so the banned player probably deserved it.

permaban is something that most players probably dislike to see like me I let a friend play twice and said to him don't go on a server!!! he still started up a server and now I have to suffer from it:(
