Java Add Blockwars Back

Hi, I will be clear cause I don't wanna waste a lot of time cause I know this thread will be ignored such as every thread that talks about adding Blockwars back...
As you probably know Camezonda forgot to tell the developers to add blockwars as a feature game before a week... but then he promised to add it for 4 days after that... So it had a lot of players in the past 4 days, even much more than the players in Minerware so I think Blockwars deserves to be a permanent... its a successful game and it only needs to have some new maps and maybe other updates.. have a nice day :) @Camezonda

I will say it is interesting how the mere fact of it being featured for 4 days instead of 2 attracted way more players.

I wouldn't like it permanent unless it received some sort of meaningful update. I'd love to see some kit rebalancing and new maps (wink wink). I'd like to see some changes to trap blocks. Maybe trap blocks could be identified if the player say looked at the block for 5 seconds continuously so that way, it adds more valid ways to use sneaky strategies without being 1shotted and makes miner much more useful. It would only identify it for the player who found it. With a meaningful update, Blockwars CTF could probably reach 250 players.

Or just grant miner the ability to see trap blocks. But yes, BlockWars is a game with a lot of potential. Contrary to games like the arcade ones, which only truly present one situation throughout the whole game, and variation would just end up in repetition.

I have to agree with @Andyyy, I played the game yesterday and I didn't found it as fun as always,not because it wasn't a challegue because the op parties(not that big now)were destroying me and my random teammates,instead because they were destroying me in the same way as ever,some tnt and runner/ninja,nothing new;until some hours later I joined with some friends in a discord call and we make some fun strategies that wouldn't had work if we weren't fighting randoms,at that momentas I started having fun because of my friends and the strategies that didn't involve bomber or runners.The game needs and update to keep it's older players interested in it or they would end leaving it.

I don’t think parties are a problem, they’re just part of every game to be honest.

If Colombia had a soccer match against Germany Colombia would most likely get d-e-s-t-r-o-y-e-d but there’s nothing unfair in it, after all it is a team game.

“Op Parties” are present everywhere and aren’t a threat because most of the time those are the people who spend money on the server in stuff like ranks, multipliers, plus subscription, bundles, etc. Op parties aren’t endemic of BlockWars, they’re also very present in team Eggwars and Skywars.

I know this sounds weird but, blockwars seems to be a game for experienced players. It’s not for everyone, not everyone will enjoy it.

If they make it 1.8 i agree with it, but if its gonna be 1.9 or higher I disagree

A few days ago when BlockWars was a featured game you could also play it on 1.8, I tried to play it in 1.8 but it took a while to see players joining the match. BlockWars 1.9+ is way more popular.

Seriously though, this really needs to be a permanent thing, I would dfeinitely agree with you. There has been many a time where I have pondering, pontificating, hmmm, I believe this should be a more integral part of the server. I mean, come on, really. It should just be standard practice, you know, part and parcel of the cubecraft network. It's just absolutely infuriating that it hasn't been like this yet. I'm sure many players would unequivocally agree that this gamemode is really super duper fun and awesome and it needs all the support it can get to remain a permanent feature
