Emphasize rules!

Dear Cubecraft,

I noticed not so many players actually know the rules, linking them when people join would be handy ;)

Even if you link them the rules, I doubt any of them would bother reading them.

There are too much people who team and hack!
Good idea to send them a link to the rules!

i agree with you that not many know the rules. but i would suggest that instead of it linking them that a chat message is sent offering a link to the rules. i doubt that when a player joins the server for their first time they are going to want to instantly read the rules within the first minute of them joining. but aside from that i totally agree with you.

It was already called out that cube was not taking the correct parameters in the rules

“Ignorance is no exception” yeah i get that and it makes sense and i do agree however the rules are only on here and discord, where about 90% of the player population isnt, the view here is to have the link to the rules in chat or have a /rules that way its like

Player: why was i banned?
Staff: you broke the rules
Player: but i didnt know them!
Staff: to bad we have them at your disposal on server

This is partially because rules generally dont change from server to server

You should do what some other servers do, they make you do /rules read 1,then /rules read 2, until they have read all the pages. Unless they type in the command for all the rule pages, they cannot play a game. Do this for people who first join the server. Also, make a 10 second gap between these commands so they cant just spam through them without reading then.

This is still relevant, so I'm allowed to necropost :D

Players still don't get linked to the rules and the /rules command isn't even listed if you click "Extra Help" on the menu above

This is not the way on how to get messages quickly. If you want to actually contribute to the suggestions you reply to, make sure to give the pros and cons about that suggestion instead of just saying short things like "Cool" or other replies that don't add anything to the discussion. If you like a particular post, then hit the like button

Anyone with braincells can realize it's not allowed to team or hack...

For the suggestion: I get where you're coming from but not much more people will read the rules.
