Well. I wanted to go another server with a friend, but I got a problem; I can't share IP's by fmsg, or party. And it's really annoying, best thing of minecraft servers is that you make friends during the staid. And maybe if you quit a server/ you play multiple servers you want them to come with you!

Just say it without the dots, it's just their to prevent advertising to a whole lobby but I agree that it shouldn't be there in a party or friend messages

I don't see why Cubecraft would ever want people sharing servers with other users. The only effect is that there'll be fewer players on Cubecraft. Even if it's on a small scale (though 100 friends + whoever will join your party does seem sizeable to me), this will only hurt Cubecraft.

Being able to tell your friends about a server trough party chat or (f)msg could be handy, but it will only make it easier for players to advertise after all. Also, you can just replace the dots for something else if you want to msg someone an ip. If you were able to send everyone server ip’s through msg, some players would message everyone in the lobby. Yes, you can report them, but imagine a lot of players doing this. It will simply make it easier for the players to advertise.

Or you can toggle the msg's if you're getting annoyed, or you can just ignore them. Also, I don't know about you, but I'm not dumb enough to go to a random server someone sent to me in a msg.

You could always add them on skype/discord/any other messaging program and tell them there seeing how they're your friends.
I don't see why they would allow this, you'd have people/bots sending invites to randoms to advertise servers religiously if they allow this.

How? Bots don't know if there is someone in the lobby, you can't programate a bot to do '/msg Random Name' I guess, and If they do you could always use /ignore, oh and why the hell would you go into a random bot spammy server? I mean this for friends, not for random people spam. Oh and yes, but what about if you don't have any other messaging program, but if you have it like for example, whatsapp, you don't want to share it to a random minecraft friend, what do I have to do, create a discord/any other messaging program so my friends and I can share ip's of other servers?

Well yeah that and to chat outside of mc. Discord is amazing for so many things, it'd be a good investment anyway. You make it sound like creating a discord account is a struggle.
At any rate, even if it's to your friends, it's still advertising. There is absolutely no reason why this should be allowed imo.

For example, when you want to play Build battle in another server but your friends don't know the IP, what's the problem on telling the IP?
Sure it seems harmless enough from the player point of view, you just want to play another gamemode with someone else, and you fully know you'll be just as active on this server as you were before. Maybe even your friend. But from a business perspective, they have a player who is literally telling other players to leave the server and go on another one. That's bad for them. Not to mention the fact that the other players might just prefer the other one and stop being active players here.
And this "bending of the rules" that you're suggesting just sounds like a loophole. It can easily be abused, and since its in private message mode, abusers of this will probably be getting away with it.
I mean, they could allow it and all, but it wouldn't really be a smart move on their side.

Again, this can easily be done if you have discord. It's really something which you can leave on at all times and easily add/msg people whenever you want. I play on a pretty low-tier laptop, and leaving it on all the time doesn't affect my performance in any way.
