Hello CubeCrafters!
I am writing this thread because I want to share 2 of my ideas about one of the most interesting (in my opinion) parts in these forums - the trophies.
(Just for information that I've looked at threads related to this topic and I could not find the same as these suggestions. I'm sorry if it's been suggested before, I have not seen.)

1. Trophies of the type 'Member has been registered at least ...'
There are many loyal members of the forums who have been registered for months and I think they also deserve a reward for this loyalty rather than waiting for a year or more to get it. I suggest adding a trophy to be given to members registered for:
First suggestion - 6 months. The more desirable of me.
Second suggestion - 3 months or 4, depending on the helper requirements.
Speaking of rewards, I want to add that I think it is not enough for people to get only 5 trophy points when they have been part of the forums for a whole year. In my opinion, the rewards for similar trophies should rise by at least 5 trophy points:

10 One Year Anniversary
Member has been registered at least 365 days.

15 Terrible Twos
Member has been registered at least 730 days (2 years)

20 Three Years
Has been registered for 3 Years

25 Four Years
Has been registered for 4 years

30 Half a decade
User has been registered for 5 years

2. 10 Long Time No Speak
User has been registered for 1 year and posted less than 1 post per day (364)

Well, if I need to be honest, this is not one of my favorite trophies, but I think it is good to keep it.
When we look at this trophy, we see that not so active members receive a reward for their inactivity, but I think there should be a similar trophy for the active ones.
I suggest you add a trophy that rewards members for visiting the forums daily for a certain period of time and at the same time posting a certain number of messages daily. For example, a member needs to visit the forums each day for a week / month / or a year and at the same time posts 1-5 messages every day. I find this a fun challenge.

I apologize that the trophies I suggested have no names. I'm not good at that part.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and feel free to share your opinion!

Honestly, the annual ones are fine imo. Anything like "3 months, 6 months", etc. doesn't really mean much.

Disagreed. This one just needs to be removed altogether. It rewards the inactive ones, while the active members have no chance to get this at all once they've surpassed 365 messages. On top of that, people may have been liable to have this trophy, but since it was only introduced near the end of 2017, they've lost their chance.
The last argument @Quetzi mentioned, was that they can get their own trophies & we should focus on ours. I haven't had a response, but I said something along the lines of "The inactive members can also get the annual trophies that are available to them, as it requires the same amount of effort to obtain for them either way. Not only would they be getting a trophy for logging in every once in a while, but we'd also have a fair chance for the active members."

For example, a member needs to visit the forums each day for a week / month / or a year and at the same time posts 1-5 messages every day. I find this a fun challenge.
I feel like this alone would promote pointless posts if there's nothing to post for. I don't post every day, despite being consistently active by way of reading through threads, voting on polls and possibly upvoting comments that represent my idea or criticism too. Posting every day, while seemingly simple, isn't really something I'd reward someone for. After all, an achievement wouldn't be able to tell whether said post is actually meaningful or not.

Okay, that's your opinion, but I do not share it.

Doesn't really mean much? I do not think this is a very good reason, as there are trophies like '30 posted messages', which also don't mean much but still exist right? Or the trophy 'Someone likes you' which you get after someone gives you your first like.

Because 1-5 posts is such a big problem? Sorry but I think it will even make the forums look more alive.

Well, I don't think your reasons are good ones either ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Here's why:
The difference between these two trophy types mainly lies in the fact that you actually have to actively do something to get the post & like trophies. The account age trophies are passively obtained without any work being done after you make your account. Don't you think that handing out tons of trophies requiring no work to obtain them seems unimaginative? Well, to be honest, I guess the answer is probably no as you'd like to see your idea added.
I'm not the biggest fan of the small message count trophies, so I really can't say much about them. All I can say is that they reward you for actively browsing the forums as opposed to passively (passively meaning you don't post or anything, but you just browse around and read what interests you).
Anyways, as you may have seen, I specifically said "imo" -> opinion. If you've got a good reason as to why a 3 month or 6 month milestone should be special, please do tell me. 'Cause I can't think of any.

It's more of a personal annoyance for me to be honest. People nowadays post useless messages all over the place, and I feel like I'm one of the only ones actually putting effort into their posts. I hate seeing dozens of posts on one thread that don't contribute anything to the topic whatsoever, yet not quite to the point where they could be deleted or something. I guess you could call it a pet peeve of mine.

I'd like to stop before this argue becomes unnecessarily long. Two people with different opinions. This is yours, and that's mine.

I do like the idea you have in mind here, but it might encourage people to post unnecessary messages on threads just for the sake of gaining trophy points.

I don't think I would be able to post 5 actual messages everyday for even a week straight; maybe something like a certain X amount of likes per messages within an X amount of time? This would encourage the commumity to post entertaining and useful messages that they actually put the time and effort in writing them - that definitely should be rewarded in my opinion.

I feel like you're only suggesting 1. only for yourself, seeing as your account is only a few months old..
The achievement is to be registered for x years and it should stay like that

2. god no long time no speak can be gone asap

No offense, but this is pretty stupid. If they ever add a trophy like this, the reward will be 5 trophy points or less. Of course I will make a suggestion just to win 5 trophy points at the end. Just for myself. *the last two sentences are sarcastic.*

Plus, here is the reason I don't want the trophy to be removed - I agree with Quetzi:
This trophy isn't going anywhere, it's a small bonus to thank forum lurkers/returning players. We have quite a few of these right now as people come to check out Battle Zone and I have no intention of getting rid of it. Regular forum posters have their trophies to go for, let the lurkers have theirs as well :)

And how do you feel about the normal annual trophies? They can lurk around and get those just as easily. That's the reward they can get for lurking around as opposed to an exclusive trophy which ironically isn't even obtainable for pretty much any active forums member.
(This was my argument against Q's, so I'd like to hear your take on it)

I know there are active forums members who can not get this trophy because of their activity. I think that staff members know this too, but they have a reason to keep it, which I support. I would like to have this as my last reply on this theme, as I did not make the suggestion to discuss this trophy.
